Turkish merchant bar quotes increase amid lively demand
Turkish merchant bar producers have further increased their export quotes amid higher raw material prices and stronger demand.
On Friday, Turkish merchant bar producers’ export quotes were mostly at $755-770/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $765-780/t for IPN-UPN sections, $775-790/t for flat bars, and $765-780/t for IPE sections.
Global demand, which has been weak for a while, strengthened last week, as expected by Turkish merchant bar producers.
