Buyer pressure lowers Turkish merchant bar quotes further
Turkish merchant bar producers further decreased their export quotes last week due to continuing weak demand and buyers’ pressure on prices.
On Friday, Turkish producers’ export offers stood mostly at $700-715/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $710-725/t for IPN-UPN sections, $720-735/t for flat bars, and $710-725/t for IPE sections. However, lower offers are also available from some producers.
