Turkish merchant bar quotes fall amid weak demand
Turkish merchant bar producers decreased their export quotes in the last week of 2023 amid lacklustre demand and lower raw material prices.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $645-660/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, down from $655-670/t a week earlier.
