Turkish merchant bar quotes fall amid negative mood
Turkish merchant bar producers have decreased their prices amid the negative mood prevailing in the global market arising from the slump in China.
On Thursday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $590-620/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bar and IPE sections. The new levels are down $10-20/t from the previous week.
