Turkish merchant bar quotes edge down
Turkish merchant bar producers are seen struggling to hold their prices as buyers’ price expectations are falling each day in line with declining raw material values.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $640-660/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, down $10/t from the previous week. However, lower prices were available from more aggressive producers.
