Turkish merchant bar declines again amid worsening sentiment
Turkish merchant bar producers have further decreased their export quotes due to the bearish sentiment in the global market.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were mostly pegged at around $700-710/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $710-720/t for IPN-UPN sections, $730-740/t for flat bars, and $710-720/t for IPE sections. Lower prices were also available, however, as demand remained stagnant. The prices decreased by $25/t on-week.
