Turkish merchant bar continues rise amid costlier feedstock
Turkish merchant bar producers further increased their prices last week due to the continued rises in raw material values.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $620-650/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars, and IPE sections. Prices were up from $610-625/t fob a week earlier.
