Turkish merchant bar producers still await demand pickup
Turkish merchant bar producers are seen continuing to decrease their prices as demand remains well below satisfactory levels.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $610-630/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $620-640/t for IPN-UPN sections, $630-650/t for flat bars, and $620-640/t for IPE sections.
However, the more aggressive producers are seen decreasing their prices to as low as $600/t fob levels for angles.
