Turkish merchant bar producers struggle to maintain prices
Turkish merchant bar producers had difficulties in maintaining their prices last week as buyers exerted pressure on values and gave bids at much lower levels.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $615-625/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $625-635/t for IPN-UPN sections, $635-645/t for flat bars, and $625-635/t for IPE sections, unchanged from last week.
