Turkish merchant bar producers struggle to retain prices
Turkish merchant bar producers are struggling to prevent export quotes from falling, with some forced to decrease prices last week due to the slowdown in demand.
Current quotes out of Turkey stood on Friday at $500-510/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $510-520/t for IPN-UPN sections, $520-530/t for flat bars, and $510-520/t for IPE sections, unchanged on-week.
