Weak demand pressures Turkish merchant bar prices
Despite the rises seen in raw material prices, Turkish merchant bar producers are struggling to hold prices at current levels due to the weak level of demand.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were mostly pegged at around $690-710/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $700-720/t for IPN-UPN sections, $720-740/t for flat bars, and $700-720/t for IPE sections.
