Turkish merchant bar producers see livelier export demand
Turkish merchant bar quotes on Friday stood mostly lower compared to two weeks earlier. Export demand is nevertheless showing signs of revival, unlike other Turkish steel products.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $680-700/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $690-710/t for IPN-UPN sections, $700-720/t for flat bars, and $690-710/t for IPE sections.
