Turkish merchant bar producers prepare hikes, demand sluggish
Despite the rises in raw material prices, Turkish merchant bar producers kept their quotes mostly stable last week as demand is yet to reach satisfactory levels.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $620-650/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars, and IPE sections, unchanged from the previous week.
