Turkish merchant bar producers prepare for price hikes
Turkish merchant bar export quotes remained mostly unchanged last week. Some producers, however, increased their offers in the second half of the week due to the new hike in the price of natural gas and disruption to its supply, observes Kallanish.
On Friday, Turkish merchant bar producers’ export quotes were mostly at $750-770/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $760-780/t for IPN-UPN sections, $770-790/t for flat bars, and $760-780/t for IPE sections.
