Turkish merchant bar producers fail to increase prices
Turkish merchant bar producers are seen keeping their offer prices unchanged on-week. Although they are targeting higher levels, the insufficient level of export demand prevents them from increasing their prices.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $650-690/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $660-700/t for IPN-UPN sections, $670-710/t for flat bars, and $660-700/t for IPE sections.
