Turkish merchant bar producers target higher prices
Turkish merchant bar producers are trying to further increase their export quotes due to raw material prices remaining firm.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $630-640/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $640-650/t for IPN-UPN sections, $650-660/t for flat bars, and $640-650/t for IPE sections, up $10/t on-week, Kallanish notes.
Some producers, those with longer lead times, are aiming to further increase their offer price…
