Turkish merchant bar prices rise amid costlier production
Turkish merchant bar producers increased their export quotes gradually throughout last week amid the continuing rise in raw material prices, Kallanish notes.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $655-675/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, up by $25/t from the low end of the previous week’s range.
