Turkish merchant bar prices rise amid costlier billet
Turkish merchant bar producers have been forced to increase their quotes in the international market due to the rise seen in raw material prices.
Producers had tried to keep their prices unchanged but were forced to adjust on Thursday after scrap and billet prices rose. Most Turkish merchant bar exporters are seen to have increased their export offers by $10/tonne.
