Turkish merchant bar prices remain flat, demand drags
Turkish merchant bar producers kept their export offers mostly stable during the first week of the year, although buying interest was quite weak in the global market.
On Friday, producers’ official export quotes were pegged mostly at around $645-660/tonne fob Turkey for angles, IPN-UPN sections, flat bars and IPE sections, unchanged from the last week of 2023.
