Turkish merchant bar prices continue downfall
Turkish merchant bar producers have been forced to further decrease their prices this week amid weak demand in both domestic and export markets.
On Friday, producers’ export quotes were pegged mostly at around $700-715/tonne fob Turkey for angles, $710-725/t for IPN-UPN sections, $720-735/t for flat bars, and $710-725/t for IPE sections. Angles were down from $720-730/t a week earlier.
