Turkish merchant bar exporters raise prices
Turkish merchant bar export prices have increased in the second half of this week. Merchant bar producers have seen a movement in export demand this week following a stagnant holiday period. Demand, however, has yet to return to early-December levels.
On Friday, quotes out of Turkey stood at $710-720/tonne fob for angles, $720-730/t for IPN-UPN sections, $740-740/t for flat bars, and $720-730/t for IPE sections.
