Turkish merchant bar export prices soften further
Turkish merchant bar producers faced weaker demand last week and have been forced to further decrease their export quotes.
Europe, a crucial export market, is reluctant to purchase from Turkey due uncertainty over quotas. With European buyers consequently backing off, demand for Turkish merchant bar in the global market has decreased significantly. Some merchant bar producers have decreased their prices while some struggled to keep them stable amid low demand.
