Turkish merchant bar export prices rise
After a steady protracted decline, Turkish merchant bar exporters have increased offer prices due to the rebound seen in scrap and billet prices.
Turkish merchant bar producers increased prices last week by $10/tonne from their previous levels. Current offers stand mostly at $480-490/tonne for angles, $490-500/t for IPN-UPN sections, $500-510/t for flat bars and $490-500/t for IPE sections. These are all on a fob Turkey basis.
