Turkish merchant bar export offers increase slightly

Turkish merchant bar exporters have slightly increased their offer prices, despite slowed demand in export markets. The main reason for the hike was the rise seen in raw materials prices. Following Kardemir’s high-quantity billet sales at $418/tonne ex-works at the beginning of last week, mills have increased billet prices up to $430/t ex-works.
