Turkish coil import prices increase
Turkish hot- and cold-rolled coil import prices from the CIS have risen in the past week, despite continued weak demand for imported material, market participants tell Kallanish.
Russia-origin asking prices for HRC were suggested at around $560/tonne cfr Turkey for small coils and $570/t cfr Turkey for large coils, February-shipment. This is up 10/t on-week. CRC offer prices have also risen to $620/t cfr Turkey, or up $20/t, inform buy-side sources.
