Turkish market questions fresh Baltic-origin scrap deals
Fresh deep-sea bookings were heard in the Turkish scrap market on Thursday, while the price of one Baltic-origin deal created confusion in the market.
Four Baltic-origin deals were heard on Thursday. A southern Turkish mill bought HMS 1&2 80:20 at $370/tonne and shredded at $390/t cfr Turkey, while a northern mill bought HMS 1&2 80:20 at $372/t cfr.
