Turkish market deliberates scrap price peak
Scrap prices have recorded another sharp rise and reached almost $500/tonne cfr Turkey. The latest Baltic-origin scrap booking has seen a $20/t jump to $470/t cfr for HMS 80:20, with most market players wondering where these increases will end.
