Turkey’s March slab arrivals grow, January-March still down
Turkey imported more slab in March than in February, but three-month volumes remained below last year's levels, Kallanish learns from data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
March saw 208,608 tonnes of Russian and Ukrainian slab arriving into Turkey, almost double on February, but still 15.5% down on-year. First-quarter slab imports totalled 488,158t, down almost a third on-year.
