Turkish longs quotes fall amid unfavourable outlook
Turkish long steel producers have been forced to decrease their prices in both domestic and export markets this week due to demand remaining quite weak, Kallanish notes.
On Thursday, Turkish mills’ official rebar offers were at $605-615/tonne fob Turkey actual weight. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod are at $615-625/t fob. However, amid lacking demand, $600-605/t levels seem obtainable from most rebar producers.
