Turkish long steel prices stabilise amid firm scrap
Turkish long steel producers are seen further resisting decreasing their prices as they have failed to source scrap at target values, Kallanish notes.
On Thursday, Turkish mills’ official rebar offers were at $550-565/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, unchanged from last week. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, are at $560-580/t fob.
