Turkish longs prices decline on softer demand, scrap
Turkish mills have decreased their rebar and wire rod export quotes this week due to weaker demand and lower scrap prices.
Turkish rebar producers are facing a significant decrease in rebar demand this week following sales to the US, Canada and Latin America in previous weeks. Rebar buyers are limiting their purchases to their urgent needs as rebar offers are also falling in line with scrap.
