Turkish longs mills bemoan sluggish sales, firm scrap
Turkish mills are seen suffering from sluggish steel sales in both the domestic market and abroad.
Following the restriction of exports to Israel, Turkey’s major market even during the war, Turkish mills’ have further contracted and international shipments remain limited to a few destinations including the EU, Africa, the Balkans and South America. However, demand in these destinations is quite sluggish and limited to small volumes.
