Turkish longs exports end year amid weak demand
Turkish rebar export demand remained weak in the last week of 2021 amid holidays. Turkish mills have nevertheless increased their export quotes due to the rise seen in scrap offers.
Mills’ official quotes are mostly above $690-695/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, up from $685-690/t fob in the week prior. There are even offers above $700/t fob from some mills.
