Turkish long steel, scrap prices keep on climbing
Higher prices are seen each day in Turkish wire rod and rebar markets amidst rising raw materials prices. While wire rod offer prices have seen $700/tonne fob, rebar hit $600/t fob actual weight on Friday.
With scrap exceeding $400/t cfr Turkey and iron ore at almost $160/t cfr China, steel prices continue to be pushed up (see separate Kallanish story).
