Turkey’s June rebar exports slump amid Yemen absence
Turkish rebar exports slumped in June following four consecutive months of increase. They fell 31.7% year-on-year to 208,010 tonnes.
They were also down month-on-month, from 298,336t in May.
The average recorded June price was $588.5/tonne, versus $647/t in June 2023 and $588/t in May, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
