Turkish iron ore imports flatten on-year in December
Turkey's iron ore imports were almost flat on-year in December as increased procurement from the CIS and South America offset the halt in imports from Sweden, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
December's iron ore intake came in at 746,602 tonnes, down -0.01% y-o-y. The total average value/tonne of these imports increased to $77/t from $68/t a year ago.
