Turkish iron ore imports fall despite India-origin sourcing
Turkish iron ore imports declined -36% on-year in November to 473,872 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value $95/tonne versus $93/t in November 2018.
Brazil was the largest supplier with 338,122t, although this was down -21% on-year. Sweden supplied zero versus over 150,000t a year earlier. India supplied 61,445t versus zero a year earlier.
