Turkish intake lifts Polish scrap exports in September
Polish scrap exports surged 20% on-year in September to 123,555 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product was obsolete scrap whose exports surged 29% to 82,139t. Their average value was PLN 1,156.8/tonne ($308) versus PLN 1,127.5/t in September 2017.
