Turkish imported scrap prices stabilise on fresh bookings
Turkish mills have booked imported scrap cargoes after returning from the Eid holiday this week.
A US-origin supplier has sold a cargo comprising 14,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $253/tonne, 15,000t of shredded at $258/t and 3,000t of bonus grade at $263/t cfr, for June shipment.
