Turkish imported scrap prices rebound on fresh deals
Turkish imported scrap prices have rebounded yet again on fresh US- and EU-origin deals this week.
Last week’s deals at $238/tonne cfr Turkey for EU-origin and $243/t cfr for US-origin could therefore not be met by other scrap suppliers.
An EU-origin supplier sold on Wednesday a cargo that consists of 22,500 tonnes of HMS 1&2 75:25 and 12,500t of bonus at $247.5/t cfr average price.
