Turkish imported scrap prices rise with fresh bookings
Turkish mills continue concluding deep-sea scrap cargoes despite booking numerous cargoes in previous weeks, Kallanish reports.
In the most recent scrap bookings, European-origin HMS 80:20 prices increased to $255-256/t cfr. EU-origin HMS 80:20 prices had been standing at $247/t cfr a week ago.
A mill in the İskenderun region has concluded a Canada-origin 30,000 tonne cargo of full shredded scrap at $263/t cfr, for July shipment.
