Turkish imported scrap rises sharply on fresh bookings
Turkish imported scrap prices rose sharply on Wednesday as a result of Turkish mills’ acceptance of higher offers.
A Turkish mill bought a cargo from a US supplier that consists of 24,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $268/tonne cfr Turkey, 12,000t of shredded at $273/t and 4,000t of bonus at $278/t.
