Turkish imported scrap price rises slightly
Turkish mills’ imported scrap demand seems to be continuing this week despite the numerous imported scrap purchases concluded recently.
On Monday, a Turkish mill bought a scrap cargo from Canada that consists of 20,000 tonnes of HMS 95:5, 18,000t of shredded and 12,000t of P&S at an average price of $261.5/t cfr. HMS 80:20 corresponds to nearly $255-256/t in this booking.
