Turkish scrap climbs further on more fresh deals
Turkish scrap import prices continue to increase on fresh deals, Kallanish notes.
A Turkish mill in the south has bought a cargo comprising HMS 1&2 80:20, HMS 1&2 90:10 and P&S at average $512.5/tonne cfr Turkey. The cargo is a total of 25,000 tonnes, of which 80% is HMS 1&2 80:20, with its price corresponding to $510/t cfr. It will be shipped in July.
Another producer in the south is heard to have booked HMS 1&2 80:20 from Poland at $507…
