Turkish HRC prices increase after holidays
Turkish mills have again raised their hot rolled coil (HRC) prices this week. The domestic market has accepted pre-holiday asking price levels amid the ongoing global upturn in prices, market participants tell Kallanish.
Producers are now asking $600-620/tonne ex-works for November-rolling HRC, buy-side sources inform. This is up $10-20/t over the offers made before the 10-day holiday in Turkey untill 4 September.
