Turkish HRC prices firm, export prices rise
Turkish hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices in the domestic market have risen slightly this week, while mills have raised offer prices for export business, market participants tell Kallanish.
Mills' offer prices in the local market have gone up some $5-10/tonne on-week to $670-675/t ex-works for May-production HRC. "The price level of $660/t ex-works that was asked last week is not available in the market anymore," a service centre source informs.
