Turkish HRC prices firm up amid weak demand
Prices of hot-rolled coil in the Turkish market have continued moving up in the past week, despite the somewhat weak demand, market participants tell Kallanish.
Turkish mills were asking $620-630/tonne ex-works for March-production HRC, up another $10/t on-week. Some producers were again heard asking $640/t for HRC for the local market, buy-side sources inform.
