Turkish HRC imports remain elevated, supply pool widens
Turkish imports of hot rolled flat products declined in April versus March, but remained well above April 2020 levels and kept year-to-date import volumes considerably above last year's.
Coupled with lower exports (see separate article), the trend reflects ongoing strength in domestic flats demand in Turkey, reinforced by local producers' full order books until October.
