Turkish HRC import prices slip
Turkish hot rolled coil import prices have declined in the past week as cheaper Chinese and Indian offers have slightly pushed down CIS prices, market participants tell Kallanish.
Russian mills have offered May-shipment HRC at $510-515/tonne cfr Turkey, a slight fall of some $5/t over the past ten days. Deals have been closed with Turkish pipemakers at $505/t cfr for an unspecified tonnage, traders inform.
