Turkish HRC import prices rise amid weak demand
Turkish hot rolled coil import prices have increased in the past week as some CIS-origin prices have risen, while buyers have maintained a cautious stance, market sources tell Kallanish.
Ukraine-origin asking prices have risen by $10/tonne on-week to $620/t cfr Turkey for November-rolling HRC, while CRC prices were heard unchanged at Russian offer levels. The reason for the increase is limited availability of material, according to some soruces.
